Oct 6–8, 2026
| Rank | Company | Fit | Why it matched | Objective | Contact priority |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Mid-cap CDMO, Western Europe | HIGH | Commissioning sterile fill-finish capacity in 2027 and publicly seeking late-phase clients in your modality. | Capacity partnership | Day 1 · pre-book |
| 02 | Clinical-stage biotech, US Northeast | HIGH | Two Phase II assets with no disclosed CDMO partner; ADC handling requirement matches your stated capability. | Supply agreement | Day 1 · pre-book |
The deliverable
A ranked account map, scored against criteria you approve.
Sample rows from a MAP deliverable, anonymized. Every prioritized company carries a score, a documented reason, a recommended objective and a place in the order of attack.

| 03 | Specialty pharma, Nordics | HIGH | States an in-licensing objective in your therapeutic area and has closed three regional deals since 2024. | Licensing conversation | Day 1 · portal request |
| 04 | Analytical services CRO, Ireland | MID | Scope is complementary rather than competing; plausible co-referral route into EU clients, no direct purchase. | Referral partnership | Day 2 · walk-up |
| 05 | Global pharma, Switzerland | MID | Category fit confirmed, but sourcing is centralized and the current vendor panel is closed until Q3 2027. | Long-cycle introduction | Day 3 · if time |
| 06 | API supplier, Western India | MID | Overlapping therapeutic category, but vertically integrated downstream — more likely a competitor than a buyer. | Market intelligence | Deprioritize |
Typical MAP engagement at an event this size: 1,247 companies analyzed · 89 scored HIGH · 214 scored MID · delivered as a spreadsheet. Your own counts depend on your criteria.
The problem
The expensive part of the conference happens before you arrive.
01
Already spent
Booth, travel, lodging and staff time are committed months before anyone knows which companies are worth a meeting.
30–50
Hours of manual research
Exhibitor directories, company sites, pipelines and news — read one company at a time, per event, per person.
FINITE
Meeting slots
Three days hold a fixed number of conversations. Slots filled with companies that were never a fit cannot be refilled.
At a conference with thousands of exhibiting and attending companies, the hard part was never finding companies.
How it works
Four steps, one approval gate.
- 1
Define your objective
Tell us what the event is for: buyers, licensing, supply, distribution, collaboration or investment.
- 2
Approve your criteria
Modality, therapeutic area, company type, deal type and geography — agreed and recorded before work starts.
- 3
We analyze the event
Every available exhibitor and attending company is read against your criteria and scored with a written reason.
- 4
Receive your ranked map
A spreadsheet: rank, score, reason, recommended objective and order of attack.
TYPICALLY SAME DAY · NO LATER THAN 3 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER YOU APPROVE CRITERIA
You approve the criteria before any analysis begins, so the output is scored against your definition of fit — not ours.
Pricing · one-time, per event

The alternatives
Three honest ways to prepare for the event.
Two of them are free or already included with your booth. They are genuinely useful. Here is what each one does and does not do.
"Why not just hire an analyst for a week?"
You can, and for some teams that is the right answer — particularly if you attend the same event every year and want the capability in-house. A week of a competent analyst's time costs roughly what MAP costs, and they will learn your business better than we will.
What they will not have is a scoring method already built, a criteria-approval step on the record, or a correction obligation if a field is missing. They also cannot start next week — and your event is weeks away, not quarters, which is usually what settles this. Judge it on that, not on price.
| Do it manually | Partnering portal filters | MatcherLab | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hours required | 30–50 per person, per event | 2–4 to filter, then you still read profiles | Under 5 minutes to set your criteria |
| Companies covered | As many as you can read before the event | Everyone registered in the portal | Every available exhibitor and attending company |
| Prioritization | By hand; quality drops as fatigue sets in | Keyword match, unranked | Scored and ranked against criteria you approved |
| Stated reason per company | Whatever you wrote in your own notes | None — a filter does not explain itself | One documented sentence for every prioritized company |
| Outreach angle | You write each one from a blank page | Not provided | Included for HIGH and MID in ACTIVATE; you review and send |
| Cost | Staff time you have already paid for | Usually included with your booth or pass | $0–$8,900 one-time, per event |
This is life sciences only
MatcherLab is not a generic event lead list. It is built for life sciences commercial objectives — biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, CDMOs and CMOs, contract research, API supply, technology transfer, licensing and commercialization, research and laboratory services, drug discovery and development, manufacturing and supply chain, and strategic partnerships and investment. If your event is outside life sciences, we are the wrong tool and will tell you so on the call.
